5 months from tomorrow I graduate with my BA in Psychology. Scary shit lol :O)

I probably won't be on the computer til after the new years [I'm actually sitting at Wheaton Library right now typing this] since I'll be in Florida from tomorrow til the 2nd.

Call me over the next week or so and let me know what's up and keep me company!

I just wanted to wish everyone happy holidays and to have a happy, safe, and healthy New Years and 2007!!!

Is it just me or does 2007 sound so weird to type?

How many times has someone on your friends list posted about something and you were really confused, but you didn't want to ask because you knew you SHOULD know? How many times have you felt 'guilty' asking a close LJ friend a question that should be 'obvious'?

Well, here's your chance. If you've missed a few things, missed an entry and are confused, ask me any thing. Even something EXTREMELY basic, like where I live! I'm not allowed to get even slightly irritated at any of the questions - we've all missed things before.

I've made this entry public so you can comment anonymously, if you would rather.

I like when my writing muse is fed. I wrote a short original fic for the challenge over at [info]hump_day101 [a community that posts challenges every Wednesday] - challenge this week being "Relinquish Control." Don't laugh but I like to write smut ;) I wanted to make this a fan fic but my muse wanted original characters and what my muse wants, it gets lol. I haven't written in awhile and this is un-betaed, so I'm rusty and all mistakes are my own. Enjoy and leave some feedback, pretty please.

Title: Tied Up.

My computer is being stupid and not letting me save pics to my computer in a format that I can view so I figure I might as well make use of that and put some on here.

For your viewing pleasure - pics of Israel taken by Natalie [I have some of mine uploaded on facebook - the link is in my AIM profile or go to my facebook but I wanted to save Natalie's to my comp since these are pics that I don't have]

Shit happens...or it doesn't...and it sucks...Israel 2006 )

Ok so I've done this meme before but since Shelly's napping and everyone's doing stuff, might as well do this.

Questions from the lovely [info]angylinni:

1) Did you ever think of not going to college? What would you have done instead?
Nope, it was always expected of me to go to college, whether it was community college or university, plus it's something I always wanted to do, and I never really did think to do otherwise. If I hadn't gone to college though...hmm, I'd probably have ended up working some store at Montgomery Mall or Wheaton Plaza and been a bum hehe.

2) If you could travel to any place, real or fictional, where would it be and why?
Oh my. There's so many places I want to travel to. I'd love to go to Israel just because I feel such a connection to the land even though I've never been there and it's the home of my people hehe. I'd love to go to New Orleans because the culture and scene there fascinates me so much. I also want to go to New Zealand because I'd love to explore the country. Fictional, I want to go to Hogwarts and find me one Marcus Flint and/or Adrian Pucey and have mad sex with them lol.

Continued Inside )

And from the really cool [info]gianfared:
1) If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
I try not to regret anything I've done and I figure whatever has happened in the past has made me into the person I am today.
Though if I really could...I'd like to go back to summer of 10th grade in Atlantic City with Terry and actually took the chance and kissed him. Maybe things would have moved faster, instead of having our first kiss the summer of sophomore year of college lol. And more recently, change things with Jon so we'd have had a better outcome.

2) Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?
My mother first and foremost and my friends because I know they'd be there for me.

Step right this way )

1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. Post the answers to the questions (and the questions themselves) on your LJ.
4. Include this explanation and an offer to interview
someone else in the same post. (or a separate post, but not too long after.
Be honest here, people!)
5. When others ask to be interviewed, give them five questions.

Wow my first public entry in 7 months...

I actually went through with my plans to write an M/K fic and completed it - this is the result of it - so let me know what you think!

To Robyn aka [info]dragonsmistress who introduced me to the world of Marcus/Katie (for those who don't know Marcus Flint is the Slytherin Quidditch Captain and Chaser and Katie Bell is the Gryffindor Chaser) and inspired me to start writing again - I <3 ya!

Much thanks goes to [info]angylinni for the beta - you rock :)

And of course to Rachi, Ashley, and Andrew who provided me with this lovely plot bunny, due to a half asleep game of Never Have I Ever;)

The rules of Never Have I Ever according to drinkity.com
Rules: Very simple. Any amount of people can play. Every person has their own beverage of choice. Each player goes by saying a phrase in the form of "Never have I ever...". You can say any phrase of any topic, from "Never have I ever puked from drinking" to "Never have I ever had to get stitches from my boyfriend ramming into my ass too hard." Each time a player says a phrase that is true for you, you have to take a sip.

On to the story:

Title: Never Have I Ever
Chars: Marcus/Katie with minor Ter/Ali, minor Adrian/Angelina
Rating: PG-13 - R for strong sexual suggestions
Summary: Post Hogwarts. AU. When a drinking game goes awry, what are the consequences

Never Have I Ever )

Heh - after months of working on this fic, I'm finally finished! Yes I know I'm a dork for writing Harry Potter fan fics (actually Draco/Ginny) but I don't care. This is my first one ever, so hope you like.

This is dedicated to my best online friend, Robyn, for inspiring to write this fic, pushing and nudging to get this done and for everything else you've done for me - it really means a lot to have a friend like you :)

Still needs to be beta'd - so if you know any beta readers, send them over lol.

So without further ado, I present, my first ever HP fan fic, Insatiable

Not suitable for children under 17 - warning smut ahead, read at your own risk )
